Drawings and Sketches from London

Drawing of some of the caps from Mark Dion's collection. Found out I really love a good collection of everyday objects. Something about how mundane they are in reality but when collected together, especially seeing older designs etc is fascinating. When were these objects last touched? Something about biodegradable plastic - how long would they have been around for if not picked up? Stuck with a fizzy drink theme - perhaps start own collections?

From Julian Walker's collection: "Acts of Faith"
Pills that are used for certain areas of the body for strengthening reasons, vitamins etc carved into the shape of where the pill is used for. Liked the scale, very small but in numbers made a huge area of the wall. Macro/micro. Sketches the ones I found interesting. Faith in these small pills to make one feel better and look better. Dependence on these small objects.

Animation inspired by "Sense" by Annie Cattrell - Layering and using colour with the areas of the brain that make up responses to all 5 senses. Got excited to see that it made up the general shape of a brain, enjoyed the layering process with the colours.
Couple of sketches of people taking selfies in the Tate Modern's viewing platform, and a boy drawing the buildings and skyline. People being a subject I enjoy, really loved to watch the interaction of people with the scenery and each other.
