Informative visit on how to use archives as a good source of information, history and imagery. This particular visit was based on botanical illustration and was very helpful in seeing the history of illustration ad how they would draw the images depending on the time period as well as different countries. Most of the images were printed using a plate and some drawn. A very interesting thing to consider, and I will definitely be keeping local archives in mind, especially when working on historical projects.
