Painting On Prints

I used pale yellow acrylic to block out parts of the photographs I deemed weren't needed. I like that, although the picture were taken without any thought of sequence or relativity between them, the yellow has now married them together in a form of sequence. I also like the negative space that the paint has given the photographs - it's a really great way of showing the importance of the objects in the photos.

The texture is also something others have commented on, as the acrylic has dried with the brush stokes visible and touchable. I like the contrast between the smooth photo paper and the texture of the acrylic paint!
