Trying new things with my developed film - scanning while laying physical gold objects over the top and digital manipulation on Photoshop. A crucial part of my experimentation as I found the scanned images with sequins and ribbon are not very strong in terms of a narrative - the process of making the imagery is thought about more than the narrative behind it.
I enjoyed the digital manipulation, but am still questioning how effective it is. What is the point of developing physical prints if I'm going to be scanning them and digitally manipulating? I'd like to try something more physical with the prints I have.
